In The Game Of The Goose, players spin the wheel and move their pieces based on the wheel's indication. Various spaces on the board offer different challenges or advantages to players: moving to specific spaces, spinning again, moving backward, or losing a turn.

The winner is the first player to reach the final space with an exact step count. Going over this count forces a player to return to the final space and move back the extra steps.
